So, to help out those of you who don't really see anything you want in the G_M store, I'm thinking of broadening my reach (and trying to recoup losses at the same time) by offering a range of new services focused mostly on my purchasing items NOT already available in my store. All of these services can be ordered via the usual order posts for each month.

Tickets to performances [EXCLUDES: TeniMyu, BuriMyu, *pnish* shows, and any FC-only events, as these are too damn hard to get :P]
Tickets will be delivered by normal airmail unless otherwise indicated and should reach you within 3-6 days of posting. In-person exchange is available, but payment must be completed in advance.

TRANSLATIONS - Blog entry you're dying to understand? Interview you've finally gotten your hands on but can't read? If it's text, I'll translate it from Japanese to English!

Online/digital text :: blog entries, online articles, emails, if it's clickable, it qualifies.
--200 yen for 50 characters. To calculate the exact cost of your text, divide the total number of characters you want translated by 50, and multiply that number by 200 (~$2 US). eg 670 characters/50= 13.4 x 200 = 2680 yen. Characters can be counted by copy-pasting the text into a word processing program, or email me the link and I will give you a quote.
--Returned via email 2-3 days after receipt for texts ≤1000 characters.

Tip: Do a "find" in your browser window to search for your favorite actor to find all the flyers there with them in it! I've made every effort to list everyone involved in the Myu world somehow, so I hope that helps ^___^

Hey guys!

I've been thinking about ways to make more goods accessible to the non-Japan general public, and have drawn up a quick little poll to test the waters about what people want to see me offer here. These are just a few options so far, so please take a second to select a button and cast a vote.

What do you want to see goodbye_money offer?

A short breakdown of what the options all mean:

Musical CDs: currently already available through services like Amazon Japan and YesAsia and CDJapan, I haven't offered CDs yet because...well, they're already available :P

Magazines: You know the magazines, the ones chock full of interviews and photoshoots of your favorite idols at 1-2000yen a pop :D

Translation service: possibly the most time-intensive one for me, I'd offer (at rates I haven't decided on yet) to translate from English to Japanese or back (back is better XD) most anything you want, print or online media.

Ticket purchasing service: this is the most delicate one, and the one that'd require the most preparation, as I can hardly guarantee I can get you a ticket if you want it, particularly to hard-to-get shows like TeniMyu and BuriMyu, then there's always the option of trying to get tickets on Yahoo!Auctions or AUauctions or mixi. It'd require a lot of preparation, but I know people coming to visit Japan would really appreciate the help in getting tickets to see their favorite guy or gal on stage.

That's all I've got for now, but if you can think of any new service to offer, or any aspect of the current service you'd like to see improved, please let me know. Thanks for your time!

Animate has shipped my DVDs, and so I'm letting them out of the doghouse and reopening TeniMyu orders :P

If you've been holding back, go to the December Order page to get it. However, due to time constraints, I cannot ship anything ordered NOW until I get back from America in January.

Those of you waiting on Supporter's DVDs etc., this shipment coming in is yours, and assuming it gets here within the week, I'll try and ship it out ASAP so it reaches you before Christmas ^___^

If you are ordering anything that is supposed to be a CHRISTMAS PRESENT (meaning you absolutely need it shipped out before then), please let me know. Please don't ask me to try and get something if it can wait (as in, don't say you need it by Christmas if you don't really). I will TRY to get things ordered in time -- for Animate Christmas orders, I will only buy them if they are sitting right in front of me (so no sold-outs!), and for *pnish*/Nagayan goods, I will order them ASAP and ship them out as soon as possible. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll try.

Also, I will be out of the country from December 19 - Jan 5 while I go back to America to spend Christmas and New Year's with my family.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Imperial Match Hyoutei with Seigaku 4th gen + Hyoutei A was indeed released on Saturday, Nov. 22 (and I picked up the one copy I had pre-reserved in person; still waiting on the others that I ordered online of course >_>). However, 5th gen + Hyoutei B will, apparently, not be released until SPRING 2009. I am VERY unhappy about this, as I expect those of you who ordered it are as well.

If I understand my ticket correctly, it will be available for pickup when the Tokyo Return show DVD goes on sale (Feb 21, 2009). All I can say for this is that I'm just as angry as you are >_> MMV and Animate are not earning themselves any fans this way, nor are they helping their casts. This is bad business practice, and I'm sick of it :/

This means there will be TWO 5B DVDs, each with TWO different backstages on it -- one will be available to those who purchased 4A and the return show, and the other will be available for purchase on its own. More details as they come out!

On a final note, I added some more items to the MyuPS shop that seem to not have a home! If you ordered something AGES ago and still haven't received it through a mixup or whatever and see it on there, chances are it's yours :P Definitely leave me a comment, it doesn't do me any good to have it sitting here!

For the time being, I've decided to stop taking orders for TeniMyu DVDs. It's getting to be too much for one person to keep up with, so it's going on hiatus for now. I may bring it back later, but for now I'm gonna pause it.

If you've already ordered something, or are waiting on DVDs, have no fear: yours will go through just fine, but I won't be taking future orders for the moment.

Now that I'm all settled and getting everyone's orders back to them, after a very long wait for some of you, I've decided to ask for your help, because it's going to be murder going back through a few months' worth of replies and posts to find out what I HAVE sent out, what I HAVEN'T sent out, and what I haven't ordered yet.

If you have ordered something at any point in time from me through G_M, please reply to this post with the following:

I hope with this I can ascertain who I've shipped stuff to, who I haven't even billed yet, and who's just waiting on me to send them stuff. If I have not sent your stuff yet, I'm going to assume I haven't billed you for shipping, so unless I have told you you don't have to pay (HigaMyu people who ordered expecting 1st press are in that lot), I will be billing you for that as soon as I have your order ready.

Oh I thought this day would never come -- I have internet, my issues with Animate have been sorted out, and yes, G_M IS BACK OPEN!

...Kinda 8D I'll be writing up a September Order post, as well as updating the shop page this evening, but for now, let's take care of a little business:

1) If you have a back order, please be a little more patient, as I HAVE your orders, I just have no envelopes or boxes to send them in XD Those will be taken care of first, and I just want to thank you all again for being so patient with me thus far!

2) BuriMyu DX orders! Give 'em to me now! Both DVDs are 7140yen each, and the CD/DVD is 1995yen IIRC (I'll check to be sure when I get home). Please be sure to factor in the 600yen domestic shipping fee and the 5% paypal fee. If you are purchasing all three, your total will be 17,720yen before international shipping.

If you would like all three, just treat it like a normal order and copy-paste the text from the order page like usual. IF YOU WANT THE BOX-SET: I cannot GUARANTEE that you will be able to get the box that comes with it, as it was a first-press goodie, but I will do my best to get it for you. You must order ALL THREE ITEMS to receive the box set, also, so be prepared to fork over some cash ^_~

I'll likely have other updates to make, so stay tuned! If you're ordering anything other than BuriMyu DX, such as DL5th or something like that, wait a little longer until I get the September order page up tonight~

HigaMyu order update!

So, I picked up two copies of HigaMyu this weekend from Animate for bloodstaindnght and hidemasa who'd replied saying they would still like me to pick them up copies despite not getting 1st press releases--first off, if ANYONE ELSE who ordered HigaMyu has not responded on this note, please do.

Well, a little good news on that note: I think I've still got the 1st press releases for you guys o_O

It's in a DVD-sized box and includes the DVD, a small booklet/pamphlet of some sort, and a small box as well, it seems (which could possibly be the strap that's supposed to come with it). I can't be entirely sure, as the whole thing is wrapped in plastic (though if one of you guys wants to give me permission to open it up, I can check and be sure ^_~)

If this is indeed the 1st press, then they are still available, and if you asked for a refund before but now DO want the musical since you can get 1st press, please let me know. Shipping will, of course, still be free for all the trouble I've caused -_-;;

Well, Animate's done it again: You can't pre-order the BuriMyu DVDs or boxsets anymore! Excellent! [/sarcasm]

So, according to the DVD site pre-orders are now closed until they get another shipment ready (how this could sell out when they haven't even gone on sale yet is beyond me, but they have).

So yeah, BuriMyu DVDs will have to wait until they're on sale. Feel free, however, to let me know if you want them. There are three options:

1) BOX SET - Bankai Code 002 and the All + CD [no price set yet]
2) Bankai Code 002 DVD [7140 yen]
3) The All DVD [7140 yen]

I am NOT taking orders right now, merely finding out how many I'm going to need to have set aside. This means I'm not going to bill anyone yet either.

I'm also not taking orders for Dream Live 5th, as the release date is too near and I can't promise anyone I can get 1st press still. I do not have internet (I'm making this post from a net cafe) and until I at LEAST get that, I can't burden myself with anything else, my apologies. I will be able to take orders for

So, here's what's going on.

Animate is still not being cooperative or fast. I received one order I made back in FEBRUARY a couple of weeks ago, so all of you who ordered stuff in May that got caught up in all of this? I expect a September shipment >_>

And that's just unacceptable, especially since the DVDs are sitting on the shelves at Animate stores around the country. So what I plan to do, since I selected Cash-On-Delivery, is to just refuse to pay for the shipment when it arrives, and go to the store myself to buy what DVDs I can.

I will move to Tokyo on July 26th, and should have the DVDs soon after arriving. There is, however, one issue: the HigaMyu DVDs I buy there will not be first press.

Many of you ordered through me with the understanding that you would receive first press DVDs (which include special extras in some form or another usually), but as those were sold out when I put my order in because of confusion on my part, the DVDs that would be shipped to me are non-1st Press.

There are a few things I can do at this point:

1) If you ordered a HigaMyu DVD and are happy with a non-first press DVD then you don't need to do anything, and I will give you free EMS shipping for your trouble.

2) If you ordered a HigaMyu DVD and are not happy with anything but a first press DVD then I can do one of two things: either allow you to order something else, or refund you.

Unfortunately, I don't have the funds sitting in my paypal account to repay everyone who's already paid me. I have the cash PHYSICALLY, but it's in my Japanese account (as I'd already taken the money out of paypal to pay for these DVDs), and there's no way to return it to paypal and thus you.

However, I plan on reopening G_M on August 1st, if not before, and taking orders--the majority of which I expect will be BuriMyu DVD orders. I can use any cash paypaled to me for those orders to refund those of you who would like refunds. It would simply take a couple of weeks.

I've really dropped the ball with this whole thing, and hope that being able to just go to the store myself from now on will prevent this from happening again (as for BuriMyu DVDs, I don't anticipate there being ANY problems >_>). I'd intended for this to be a way for foreign fans to easily and cheaply get their hands on these goods, but doing this as one person is a real challenge, and I hope I haven't caused too much trouble >_<
